About
DJ Dubplates is a Los Angeles native that used to DJ for SpaceGhostPurrps’ rap collective Raider Klan. His music shifts gears between turned up phonk beats and laid back soulful tracks, peppered with a healthy dose of Memphis rap acapellas and Cali kush. He’s self-released a number of solo mixtapes - Menace, Stoned Island & PRIVATE PASSWORD, as well as collaborating with Lean Low on the Pay It No Mind mixtape series on Bad Taste. Dubplates has also worked closely with Gavlyn for many years, with no less than eight world tours under their belt, globetrotting across Europe, North America and South America.
